News: Voicemail Singer Oneil Passes Away

Oneil Edwards born May 8, 1974 sadly lost his fight for life in the early hours of this morning (27th May 2010). Oneil (who was one third of dancehall musical trio Voicemail) was critically wounded after being shot several times in a robbery outside of his home in Duhaney Park earlier this month.This particular death has struck a chord with many involved in Jamaica’s music industry, as Voicemail are renowned for their happy-go-lucky party vibe. News: Bounty Killer free…and attends Church

After a 10-day stint in jail, Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer was finally granted bail on Friday 16th April.Two days later, Bounty Killer was found to be attending church with his beloved mother Miss Ivy. Sources say that she she summonsed him to Sunday’s church service… and he appeared to quite jovial.

Still no bail for Bounty Killer…

Can you believe that Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer is still behind bars after being locked up over a week ago (see original story here)! Last week the station and the judge refused him bail. Today again she refused him bail and according to a very short statement by Julian Jones-Griffith (Mavado’s manager) she said that she will consider the matter further and that he must return again on Friday.

Death Before Dishonour 2010 (The Final Warrr), was held on 5th April 2010 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Six big sounds (Mighty Crown (the defending champions), Tony Matterhorn, Bass Odyssey, Bredda Hype and Black Kat, Sentinel (out of Germany) ) battled it out to win the Squingy Cup.
